The role serves as the agent of operational implementation, adoption, and success of the Epic suite of products. Additionally, the incumbent is responsible for facilitating and managing the cultural change of 1,800 employees via advisory committees representing Stakeholders, Training and Human Resources.


  • Assumes a leadership role in overall Organization Readiness strategy through oversight of the Operational Readiness, Training, HR, Communications and Change Management and potentially other work streams
  • Supports the Entity Operational Leads, Overall Entity Program Manager and Site Executive, Lead will ensure timeliness of deliverables for operational project management, managing some aspects of the project directly
  • Develop and promote effective communication, coordinate governing executive management, coordinate project managers (vendors, partners, and staff), provide contractual management, meet defined deadlines, remain in the budget, meet quality objectives and manage constraints related to government processes
  • Responsible for managing the build, integrated areas and functional utilization of all 3rd party Epic-related systems as well as other tightly integrated clinical systems
  • Applies a structured change management approach and methodology to facilitate changes to system and process
  • Responsible for facilitating and managing the cultural change for employees via advisory committees, Lean processing gap analysis, coordination with Human Resources
  • Identifies and monitors entity-specific risks in the operational space; leads the effort to develop strategies for mitigation of identified entity-specific risks
  • Manages the relationship with third party vendors supporting the program and facilitate communication of program efforts

  • Basic Qualification:
  • Possession of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university

Five (5) years of verifiable experience in Electronic Health Record (EHR) program management of which 3 years must include supervisory experience
Experience with large multi-disciplinary projects, including business process re-engineering and technology implementations
